An Accountability Agenda for the MBTA
The MBTA is an essential institution but it is failing the hundreds of thousands of residents, institutions, and employers who depend on it every day. To meet our goals on housing, climate, and economic development — and to be respectful of taxpayers — we must make it a world-class system that serves people across eastern Massachusetts safely and efficiently. As the next State Auditor and the only candidate with a track record of making the MBTA work better, I will be an experienced watchdog over the MBTA.

Rode @RideBluebikes in to our event tonight — weather was absolutely perfect for a ride — but taking the @mbta Green Line home with Anna. #mapoli #mapoliontransit pic.twitter.com/s4ceza67HE

On the @mbta #66 home from the Boston Ward 22 Dems caucus. Everywhere we go in this state — from Pittsfield to Provincetown — people want more transit. But too few elected officials actually take it. As Auditor, I’ll take it every day to Beacon Hill. #mapoli #mapoliontransit pic.twitter.com/4ewZQtAAv6

Second day in a row on the @mbta Blue Line. Was in East Boston yesterday and headed to Revere this morning. DYK the Blue Line tunnel under Boston Harbor was the first subway tunnel to run beneath a body of water in N. America when it opened in 1904? #mapoli #mapoliontransit pic.twitter.com/rEqfnAOapq

Another @MBTA_CR back from Worcester. Someone in this pic has decided to leave his headphones at home and share his music with the full train… #mapoli #mapoliontransit pic.twitter.com/bUf4ll7Pjl

Extremely impressed with the Hancock-Adams Common in Quincy Center. The City has turned what was a four-lane road into a beautiful park and pedestrian promenade, connecting the Church of the Presidents, City Hall, and the T station. Great to be back here. #mapoli #mapoliontransit pic.twitter.com/aKWDgNLcNU
